Singing Contest

Singing contest by Indonesia Youth Foundation is a contest for foreigners who will be performing Indonesian songs live or via pre-recorded videos on the Zoom app. This event aims to promote the Indonesian language and culture to the global community

Registration deadline: January 2, 2021, at 18.00 WIB (GMT+7)

Date: January 3, 2021
Time: 16.00 WIB (GMT+7) via Zoom meeting

The rules and technicalities are as follows:

-The competition is open to all foreigners (not limited to IYF Indonesian class participants)

-Participants are free to choose any Indonesian song they want to sing at the contest

– Participants are allowed to read the lyrics while singing the song

-Participants are allowed to perform live or through video recordings that have been collected to the committee by Saturday, January 2, 2021, at 18.00 WIB at the latest.

-For participants who take part in the competition in video form, they will be shown live in front of the judges

-For participants who take part in the competition in video form but are unable to attend, they will still be shown live in front of the judges. The assessment will be written by the judges

-Participants who want to submit their singing videos could send them via email to mashitatidore@gmail.com with the subject: “Singing Contest by IYF”
(The file will be automatically sent as Google Drive links)

-The duration of time is not determined for each participant. However, the completeness of the song will affect the assessment points

-Judges’ assessment is based on aspects of pronunciation, vocals, and the completeness of the lyrics with a score of 1-10

-Judges will deliver their comments directly after each participant’s performance

-Announcement of winners will be announced immediately before the closing of the event
