Unlocking Tomorrow: IYF and Matsushita Institute of Government and Management (MIGM) Game-Changing Partnership

Jakarta, August 7, 2024 – On Wednesday morning, at the Lobby of Pullman Jakarta Indonesia Thamrin Hotel, the Indonesia Youth Foundation (IYF) held a meeting with the Matsushita Institute of Government and Management (MIGM). The meeting took place from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, bringing together the two organizations, Indonesia Youth Foundation and Matsushita Institute of Government and Management (MIGM), to explore potential future collaboration opportunities.

The meeting began with an introductory session from both sides. Mr. Yoichiro Morioka, Director of Training at Matsushita Institute of Government and Management (MIGM), introduced their institution, renowned for its exclusive training programs in leadership, business, and politics. The program recruits five talented individuals each year, and on this occasion, they expressed an interest in scouting talent from Indonesia.

On the other hand, IYF representatives—Pipih Nurhasanah, Livia Liannasari, Almira Zahra, and Helena Yustika—presented the vision and mission of IYF through an engaging presentation. They also introduced the annual Bali International Student Festival (BISF) and offered the Matsushita Institute the opportunity to be a keynote speaker in one of the educational sessions. “If you need a lecture, please call me and tell me,” Morioka responded positively to this offer and mentioned that he would try to contact one of their alumni to participate as a speaker.

The outcome of this meeting indicated strong potential for collaboration. Matsushita Institute expressed their willingness to assist IYF whenever needed, including providing speakers for BISF. They also agreed to share the documentation of this meeting across all of IYF’s social media platforms and official website.

Furthermore, Matsushita Institute revealed their plans to introduce BISF to students in Japan, encouraging them to participate as attendees. Morioka also extended an invitation to the IYF representatives to visit their facilities in Japan, with an offer of accommodation in the institute’s dormitory.

This meeting marks the beginning of a promising collaboration that will be beneficial for both parties, particularly in the development of talented youth in Indonesia and Japan.
