IYF Delegates Seize Incredible Scholarship Opportunities at Indonesia’s Largest Event!
(Jakarta, December 11, 2025) — Representatives from the Indonesia Youth Foundation (IYF), Helena Yustika and Elricha Nafisa, participated in the Pesta Beasiswa Rakyat Indonesia (Festival Beasiswa Merah Putih) Part-2, Indonesia’s premier national scholarship festival. The two-day event was held at the Lobby of the DPD RI Building in Senayan, with the theme ‘Jaga Indonesia Melalui Beasiswa’ (Protecting Indonesia Through Scholarships). It brought together a diverse group of participants, including government officials, education leaders, scholarship providers, and aspiring scholars. The event aimed to strengthen Indonesia’s human resource development, supporting the nation’s vision for Indonesia Emas 2045.
Connecting Students and Educators with Global Scholarship Opportunities
The festival went beyond being just a scholarship fair. It served as a comprehensive platform for students and educators to explore scholarship opportunities at every level, from high school to doctoral programs. Attendees also had the chance to participate in hands-on workshops, further enhancing their understanding. Additionally, the event provided direct access to domestic and international scholarship institutions, offering valuable networking opportunities

Both Helena and Elricha attended on the second day of the event, Thursday, December 11, 2025. Helena joined multiple sessions throughout the day, beginning with the institutional presentation session from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, featuring Kaplan Edupac, International Test Center (ITC), Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF), and PUSPENMA KEMENAG RI. The presentations covered comprehensive scholarship preparation details including required documents, costs, and mandatory tests. She then participated in an English workshop conducted by IALF, followed by a “Scholarship & Study Abroad Preparation” workshop by Schoters by Ruangguru. During breaks, Helena visited booths from the Dutch, Japanese, and Italian embassies, collecting informational brochures.
Meanwhile, Elricha participated in the institutional presentation session, an IELTS trial class with IALF, and a TOEFL mock-up test organized by IIEF. “It opened my mind about English tests and gave me knowledge about IELTS and TOEFL,” Elricha reflected. The TOEFL simulation provided a real testing experience covering listening and structure sections, offering participants valuable preparation for actual examinations.
Helena described the IALF English workshop as the most impactful part of her experience. “That opportunity trained my listening and speaking skills, because the native speaker was very proactive with the audience,” she explained. The interactive session, led by a native English speaker from IALF, engaged participants in critical thinking exercises on sentence logic. The workshop encouraged active engagement, with attendees discussing, arguing, and collaborating in English..

For Elricha, both the IELTS and TOEFL sessions proved most valuable. “I feel the IELTS and TOEFL sessions were the most impactful for me,” she shared. The IALF representative’s teaching approach fostered objective thinking and made learning both enjoyable and interactive.
Helena and Elricha Highlight Practical Benefits of the Event
Helena praised the festival’s comprehensive scope, furthermore noting its particular value for those seeking overseas scholarship information, from undergraduate to doctoral levels. “Overall, this event is very useful for anyone who wants to find information about scholarships abroad,” she observed. Beyond booth visits, participants could attend institutional presentations and enhance their English proficiency through TOEFL mock tests and conversation workshops. “Most importantly, we also gained a lot of knowledge and motivation about preparing to achieve our dreams of going abroad,” Helena added.
Elricha echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the event’s accessibility and practical value. “The event was so helpful for people who want to get information about scholarships and English test certification,” she noted. The festival provided numerous booths sharing scholarship opportunities and English test information, complemented by interactive and informative sessions. “I’m really glad to be here with my head division too, Kak Helena. We both really enjoyed this event and took many benefits from it.”
