Gathering That Sparks Youth Energy and Environmental Change

(Jakarta, 2025/11/08) The Indonesia Youth Foundation held an offline gathering at Bali Coffee Club Fatmawati on Saturday, November 8 at 12:30 WIB. The program welcomed members who live in the Jabodetabek area and introduced a collaborative activity with The NGO International Film & Knowledge Forum through a short film and video review focused on environmental themes. Participants reflected on the messages presented in the film and shared their thoughts to build a sense of empathy within the group.

The atmosphere encouraged open conversation and helped members reconnect after mostly meeting through online platforms. According to Heykal from the event division, the gathering represented an important opportunity for members from several batches to finally meet in person. Moreover, it helped strengthen the shared values that unite them. He noted that Jabodetabek offers the most accessible setting for an offline meeting. Furthermore, he expressed hope that members in other regions will be inspired to hold similar gatherings.

Behind the Scenes of Our Cozy Gathering

Preparation for the event took about one month starting from early October. The committee evaluated various locations and considered cost, accessibility, reservation terms, and the capacity for group discussion. Bali Coffee Club was selected therefore because it met the key requirements for a comfortable and interactive program. Rainfall on the event day created delays as participants waited to arrive safely, yet the session eventually proceeded smoothly and allowed everyone to enjoy meaningful interaction.
